A container in the shape of a cube is filled completely with water. Each of its sides are 20 cm long. If 2400 cm3 is taken out, find the height of the water level in the container.
-------------
Vol = s^3 = 8000 cc
Vol also = base area * height = 400*h
-----
8000 - 2400 = 5600 cc remaining
5600 = 400*h
h = 14 cm
