Question 494251: how would i estimate the volume of a basketball in liters?
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Measure the circumference with a tape (or look up the dimensions on the web somewhere).
The radius is the circumference/(2pi) (get it in centimeters)
cubic cms
1 liter = 1000 cc
liters
-------------------
That's the volume of the ball and the air inside the ball.
