How do I write an alforithm to compute the volume of water in cubic feet, flowing through a pipe of diameter d in feet, with a velocity of v feet per second?
Let M = the volume of water in cubic feet
= area of pipe * velocity of water * time elapsed
where area of pipe = pi * d^2/4

So M becomes
M = pi * d^2/4 * v * t
M = (pi/4)(vtd^2)
