Question 457503: I need help in answering this question please. Question: A can of soda has a volume of 355 mL. The area of a circle is given as A=(pi x r^2)h, where h is the height of the can. If a particular can has a height of 12.2 cm, what is the radius of the can?
I found the answer by using Diameter= sqrt ((4 x volume) / (height x pi)) which would be : sqrt of ((4(355) / (12.2 x 3.14)) which is sqrt of 6.088= 3.044. The answers listed are A) 3.04 mm B) 3.04 cm C) 9.26 mm and D) 9.26 cm. I know my answer is either going to be A or B, I'm just not sure whether to answer in cm or mm
