Volume of a rectangular solid is l*w*h

Question states***

(x+2)x*5 = 175

(x+2)x= 35

x^2 + 2x - 35 = 0

factoring

(x+7)(x-5)= 0

(x+7)= 0  x = -7, cannot use

(x-5)= 0  

x = 5 units, the width.  The length is 7 units  (5+2)
