Question 370595: i need to build a box to hold 300 cubic inches of ash, can you give me some inside deminsions for a rectangular box?
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume of the box = 300 cu.in
..
find the factors of 300
split the factors into suitable 3 parts to suit the requirement.
..
300 = 2*2*3*5*5
...
Since Volume V = L*W*H
split the factors into 3 parts for the box to look practical.
..
2*5 by 2*3 by 5 height inches
10 by 6 by 5 in
