Question 35765: Hi,
Can anyone answer this?
In cubic meters, how much greater is the volume of a cylinder with height 21m and a radius 12m than the volume of a square prism with height 21m and base 12m on a side?

Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
VOLUME OF THE CYLINDER IS 21*3.14*12*12 OR 9495.36 CUBIC M.
VOLUME OF THE SQUARE PRISM IS 21*12*12 OR 3024 CUBIC M.
THEREFORE THE DIFFERENCE IS 9495.36-3024 OR 6471.36 CUBIC M.
