.
"area of base" = (pi)r^2
"area of base" = (3.14)15.5^2
"area of base" = (3.14)240.25
"area of base" = 754.385 cubic inches
.
1 gallon = 231 cubic inches
.
In terms of gallons then:
754.385/231 = 3.266 gallons
