A sphere is circumscribed about a cube. Find the ratio of the side of the cube to the radius of the sphere.
A sphere is inscribed in a cube.
the diametrically opposite points of the sphere touch the inside of the cube.
So the diameter = length of side of cube
radius of sphere = 1/2 length of cube.
let radius be x
side of cube = 2x
ratio = 2x / x = 2
