Question 288695: A hemisphere has a radius of 2 cm. Whats the volume of the hemisphere in terms of pi?
I got the actual answer but dont understand how to put it in terms of pi. Heres what i did:
V=4/3*pi*(2*2*2)= 33.5101230666667
and then simplified that to: 33.51
i cut that i half so that id have a hemisphere instead of a sphere: 33.51/2= 16.755
how do i do this problem in terms of pi?

Leave as it is (ie don't replace it with 3.14...) to get . So the volume of the entire sphere is cubic cm. Divide this in half to get cubic cm which is the volume of the hemisphere.
