Will she be able to do it from the far corner of a 15-yard by 12-yard parking lot if her car is parked in the diagonally opposite corner from where she is standing? i know that you can't do the problem, but how can you not solve it?

It's stated that she can turn it off from 15 yards, or "up to" 15 yards. It does not say that 15 yards is the maximum, or "up to but not exceeding", so whether or not it will work from 19.2 yards is not known.
