This cone has a height of 5 meters. Its circular base has a diameter of 6 meters. What is the approximate volume of this cone?
Volume of a cone = 1/3*pi*r^2*h
In this case r = 1/2*diameter = 1/2*6 = 3
Height = 5
Volume = 1/3*pi*3^2*5
Volume = 1/3*9*5*pi
Volume = 15*pi
