is  the diameter.  Since the diameter is , the

radius is  of  or .  So we substitute

 for  in the equation:









For  some people use  even though that 
is technically inaccurate but it is accurate to three 
significant figures. 
So we'll use it:



Using a calculator, that comes out

 

but since it is accurate only to three significant
figures we round it to:

 or if you prefer .
