Question 203531: could some one help me in this ?
In a cylinder : r= 60cm , h =80 cm .The cylinder is laid on its superficies. There is water in the cylinder the level of which is 30cm high.
How much is the height of the level of the water if the cylinder is placed on its base?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In a cylinder : r= 60cm , h =80 cm .The cylinder is laid on its superficies. There is water in the cylinder the level of which is 30cm high.
How much is the height of the level of the water if the cylinder is placed on its base?
------------------
The volume of the cylinder is
V+=+pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah
V = pi*3600*80
V = 288000*pi cc
----------------
Unless you meant that 60 cm is the diameter, the formula for the water volume is messy.
Email me via the thank you note to confirm the dimensions.
