Question 161611: To the nearest tenth, what is the volume of a sphere whose radius is 1 yard? (V=4/3pi r^3) I must show my work
Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You just need to "plug it in and solve":
V=4/3pi r^3
V=4/3pi 1^3
V=4/3(3.14)
V=4/3(3.14)
V=12.56/3
V=4.187
to the nearest tenth:
V=4.2 cubic yards
