How many cubes of side 6cm can be fitted in a box measuring 40cmby 28cm by 18cm?
find volume of the box:
40cm%2A28cm%2A18cm=20160cm%5E3
find volume of the cube:
6cm%2A6cm%2A6cm=216cm%5E3
divide volume of the box by volume of the cube
20160cm%5E3%2F216cm%5E3=20160%2F216=93.3333

93 cubes of side 6cm can be fitted in a box

I will assume the cubes are solid and so cannot be squeezed into different shapes....

40/6 = 6 2/3; so 6 cubes in that direction
28/6 = 4 1/3; so 4 cubes in that direction
18/6 = 3; so 3 cubes in that direction

ANSWER: 6*4*3 = 72 cubes

The "solution" by @MathLover1 is absurdist.

Do not take it seriously.

Simply ignore it . . . for your safety . . .
