Does the bottom have to be sealed?
Does it have a top that needs to be sealed?
Do you only have to seal the walls?

walls: (3*Pi*1.5)/3 = cans of sealer
bottom: [((3/2)^2)*Pi]/3 = cans of sealer NOTE: Double this amount if you also have to seal the top.

If you need to, don't forget to add eithe the number of cans for bottom or bottom-and-top to the number of cans for the walls to get your total.
