Please help me solve this problem.
A granite block in the shape of a right rectangular
prism has dimensions 30 centimeters by
40 centimeters by 50 centimeters. The block has a
density of 2.8 grams per cubic centimeter. What is
the mass of the block, in grams? (Density is mass
per unit volume.)
My solution: 1.) Multiply 50*40*30 to get the volume of the prism.
2.) Then multiply the answer by 2.8 to get the mass.
3.) So, my answer was 168,000 , .
I'm not sure if i'm right. Could please check if i made any mistakes? Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
