The volume of a box is (x^2+5x+6)(x+5), find the polynomial that represents the bottom of the box. Then it shows the box with x+2 next to it.If anyone could help me wiht this it would be greatly appreciated.
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The volume of a box is (x^2+5x+6)(x+5), find the polynomial that represents the bottom of the box. Then it shows the box with x+2 next to it
--------------
x+2 is linear,or 1st degree, and represents the height of the box.
x^2+5x+6 is quadratic, or 2nd degree, and represents the area of the base.
