Answer by addingup(3677)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A beach ball is a sphere.
The diameter is two times the radius, in your problem: 24/2 = 12
The volume of a sphere = 4/3*Pi*r^3
4/3*Pi*12^3 = volume
4/3*Pi*1728 = volume
4/3*5428.67 = 7,238.23 cubic inches. Convert to liters and you have your answer.
1 liter = 61.0237 cubic inches. Divide
Or
1 inch = 0.0163871. Multiply
