5^3 = 125 m^3
1m^3 = 1,000 liters, so your tank's capacity is 125*1,000 = 125,000 liters. You cannot fit 500000 liters in this tank.

The volume of the cube with the edge of 5 m is 5*5*5 = 125 , or 125000 liters (1 = 1000 liters). 500000 liters is the volume greater than 125000 liters. You can not pour 500000 liters of water into this cubic tank. Tooooooo much water. The tank will be fully filled and overtop.
