Question 1021705: Tin boxes are being shipped to Walmart for distribution. As head of distribution you need to know their volume.
They were made in China and measure 96.96cmX42.04cmX58.15cm.
The walls are 1 mm thick.
What is the volume of the box, in mL?
Hint, Calculate the outside volume. Subtract the wall thickness from each side and calculate the inside volumen. Take the outside volume minus the inside volume to get the box volume.
Put your answer in two decimal places.

hi there,
Add 1mm to all your sizes.
97.06cm x 42.14cm x 58.25cm
Volume = 238248.81 cm^3 or mL
Hope this helps :-)
