Here's one exactly like yours with the numbers changed:

Find 3a+b given: a= <-2,5>, b=<3,7>.
Substitute:

3   a   +   b
|   |   |   |
3<-2,5> + <3,7>
<-6,15> + <3,7>
    <-3,22> 

Now do yours exactly the same way.
