Question 1149456: Find the horizontal and vertical components of
A) a force of 30N acting at 30 degrees to the horizontal
B) a velocity of 50m/s at 60 degrees to the horizontal.

.

(A) = F*cos(a) = 30 * cos(30°) = = 25.98 N.

        = F*sin(a) = 30 * sin(30°) = = 15 N.

(B) = V*cos(a) = 50 * cos(60°) = = 15 m/s.

        = V*sin(a) = 50 * sin(60°) = = 43.30 m/s.
