Question 205832: Solve the following equations in the interval [0,2].
Note: Give the answer as a multiple of pi. Do not use decimal numbers. The answer should be a fraction or an integer. Note that pi is already included in the answer so you just have to enter the appropriate multiple. E.g. if the answer is pi/2 you should enter 1/2. If there is more than one answer enter them separated by commas.
sin(t) = -sqrt3/2; t = ? pi
sin(t) = 1/2; t = ? pi

Question 205833: Evaluate the following expressions.
Note: Your answer must be in EXACT form: it cannot contain decimals. It must be either an integer or a fraction. If the answer involves a square root write it as sqrt . For instance, the square root of 2 should be written as sqrt(2).
sin(-2pi/3) = ?
cos(pi/2) = ?
tan(pi/6) = ?
cot(pi/2) = ?

Question 206572: solve for the exact value of x where 0 greater than or equal to X and less than/equal to 2 pi.
cos^2 x-1=0
I did the factoring and FOILing and
The two answers I got were:
cosx=-1 cosx=1
x=pi x=0,2pi
According to my instructor cosx=1's answers are not completly correct. I dont see what the problem is since cos(0) and cos(2pi) both =1. Am I missing something here? Thank you for your help.
