Question 983568: 2 sin x - cosec x = 1
Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 sin x - cosec x = 1
2sin - 1/sin = 1
2sin^2 - 1 = sin
2sin^2 - sin - 1 = 0
(2sin + 1)*(sin - 1) = 0
sin(x) = 1
x = pi ± n*2pi, n = 0,1,2,3...
===========
sin(x) = -1/2
x = 7pi/12 ± n*2pi, n = 0,1,2,3...
x = 11pi/12 ± n*2pi, n = 0,1,2,3...
