Question 960872: How do you verify sinxcosx(tanx+cotx)=1?
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you use the distributive law of multiplication plus the fact that sin^2x + cos^x = 1.
sinxcosx(tanx+cotx) = sinxcosxtanx + sinxcosxcotx = sinxcosxsinx/cosx + sinxcosxcosx/sinx = sin^x + cos^x = 1
