I have looked /everywhere/ to find how to calculate the angle. I know I am supposed to use the inverse sine function, but when I enter sin^-1(15/17), my answer is .8823529412 . When I attempt to convert the decimal to degrees, minutes, & seconds, I am given 1 4' 51.02" . Neither of these answers make any sense!

B=arcsin(a/c)=arcsin(15/17)==61.9 degrees
Make sure your calculator is set to degrees, not radians. I don't see how you got the results you described.
