Question 950077: In solving Trig equations, how do you solve 3tan^2(data) = 1
Please and Thank you.
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3tan^2(data) = 1
tan^2 = 1/3
tan = -sqrt(3)/3
data = 150, 330 degs
-----
tan = +sqrt(3)/3
data = 30, 210 degs
========================
tan(data) is not common.
tan(theta) is common.
