Question 945610: Hi, please help me Solve for the angle theta , where 0 is less and equal to theta which is less and equal to 2pi. Using the half angle formula.
Here is the problem:
Cos ^2 theta =1/4
Thank you
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Cos ^2 theta =1/4
cos = 1/2
--> theta = 60, 300 degs
----------------
cos = -1/2
--> theta = 120, 240 degs
==================
I don't see a need for the half-angle formula.
You can convert to radians.
