I used tan (35 degrees)= OPP / 65
my answer : 45.51
But my online homework says it's wrong, i'm not sure what it is that i am doing wrong.

Think of the arrangement like a triangle with bottom being 65 feet for the shadow, and you want the vertical length. The angle 35 degrees lets you say, , same format as what you have.
