Question 920475: Check answers please
Find the exact value of the trigonometric function at the given real number.

sec 10π/3 --> since the reference angel is π/3 the terminal point is (1/2,√3/2)
since sec = 1/x it is therefore: 1/(1/2)
csc 10π/3 --> again (1/2, √3/2)
since csc = 1/y therefore 1/(√3/2)
Is this correct?
Thank you

Hi,
10π/3 - 2π = 4 π/3 Step I for those > 2pi
III Quadrant or (-1/2,-√3/2 )
One may view these terminal points as MINUS those in the first Quadrant for π/3
terminal points (-1/2,-√3/2 )
sec 10π/3 = 1/(-1/2) = -2
csc 10π/3 = 1/(- √3/2) = -2/√3 = -2√3/3
