for t=3.3, let's look at the unit circle whose center is (0,0)
beginning at point (1,0) we rotate counterclockwise since t>0
reference number for t=3.3 is 3.3 - 3.141592654 = 0.158407346 radians
note that pi = 3.141592654 and t is given in radians
