Question 914799: Fidn the value of sine theta, when cos theta = 2/9 and theta is in quadrant IV
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
cos Theta = 2/9
cos^2 theta = 4/81
1-sin^2theta = 4/81
sin^2theta = 1-4/81
sin^2theta = 77/81
sin theta = +/- sqrt(77)/9

since theta is in IV quadrant
sin Theta = -sqrt(77)/9
