Question 905125: I need a little help verifying an identity.
If you could explain how you got the answer, it'd be really nice.

csc(-x)+sinx=cos^2*csc(-x)

Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
csc(-x)+sinx=cos^2*csc(-x)
start with left side:
csc(-x)+sinx
=1/sin(-x)+sinx
=-1/sinx+sinx
=-1+sin^2x/sinx
=1-sin^2x/-sinx
=1-sin^2x/sin(-x)
=cos^2(x)*csc(-x)
verified: left side=right side
note:-sin(x)=-sin(-x)
