Question 889311: Evaluate: sin^-1(cos pi/3)
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
arcsin(cos(pi/3) = ?????
pi/3 is equivalent to 60 degrees because pi/3 radians * 180/pi = 180/3 = 60 degrees.
cos(60) = 1/2.
arcsin(1/2) = 30 degrees.
30 degrees * pi / 180 = pi/6.
arcsin(cos(pi/3) = pi/6.
