If sin a = ✔️7/4 and a is in Quadrant II, find the value of the other five trigonometric functions.
(I tried typing above the square root of 7 over 4)
Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If sin a = √7/4 and a is in Quadrant II, find the value of the other five trigonometric functions.
Reference angle a is in quadrant II in which sin>0, cos<0, tan<0
cos a=-√(1-sin^2 a)=-√(1-7/16)=-√(9/16)=-3/4
tan a=-√7/3
csc a=4/√7=4√7/7
sec a=-4/3
cot a=-3/√7=-3√7/7
