Question 882043: i am attempting to study for my functions trig final but am having difficulty understanding the terminal side of an angle. i understand how to find what quadrant the answer is suppose to go in but i do not understand how to change 17π/3 into a value on the unit circle. is there anyway to explain how 17π/3 = 5π/3 (thats the answer my teacher posted online)
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
17pi/3 = 2*2pi + 5pi/3
2pi is a complete revolution so it can be ignored.
