Question 873891: Sin2theta+cos theta = 0. Please solve
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Sin2theta+cos theta = 0
-------------------
sin(2t) + cos(t) = 0
----
2sin(t)cos(t)+cos(t) = 0
Factor:
cos(t)[2sin(t)+1] = 0
----
cos(t) = 0 or sin(t) = -1/2
------
t = 90 or 270 degrees ; t = 210 or 330 degrees
---------------------------------------------------
