How many inches does the car wheel travel per each revolution?
Find the circumference.
Pi * diameter
Using 3.14159 for Pi = 62.8318
Multiply by 10,000 revolutions for a total distance of 628,318 inches
How many inches in a mile?
5280 feet * 12" = 63360
Divide total distance 628318 by distance in a mile 63360 to get:
9.92 miles
