Question 866960: find the value of the following given that tan theta = 4/3
(2tan theta - 1)/(4cos^2 theta)

find the value of the following given that tan theta = 4/3
(2tan theta - 1)/(4cos^2 theta)
-------
Since tan(t) = 4/3, y = 4 and x = 3
Therefore r = sqrt(4^2+3^2] = 5
Then cos(t) x/r = 3/5
---------------------
Your Problem::
(2(4/3)-1)/(4(3/5)^2)
etc.
