Question 852249: Given : Sin t= 3/5 and 0< t < pie/2
sin(t + 10pie)
How do you solve??

Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the following trig identity
sin(x + y) = sin(x)cos(y) + cos(x)sin(y)
sin(t +10pie) = sin(t)cos(10pie) + cos(t)sin(10pie)
looks like pie is 180 degrees in your problem
therefore sin(1800) = 0 and cos(1800) = 1
sin(t +10pie) = (3/5)*1 + cos(t)*0
sin(t +10pie) = 3/5
