Question 849277: Solve for x between 0° and 360°
2 Sin(x + 45°) = 3 cos x

Solve for x between 0° and 360°
2 Sin(x + 45°) = 3 cos x
----
2[sin(x)cos(45)+cos(x)sin(45)) = 3*cos(x)
----
2[sin(x)(sqrt(2)/2) + cos(x)(sqrt(2)/2)] = 3 cos(x)
sqrt(2)[sin(x)+cos(x)] = 3cos(x)
----
sin(x) + cos(x) = (3/sqrt(2))cos(x)
sin(x) = [(3/sqrt(2) - 1]cos(x)
sin(x) = 1.1213*cos(x)
tan(x) = 1.1213
x = arctan(1.1213) = 48.12 degrees
