Question 848551: 3|x-3|
find intervals of increasing and decreasing

Set 3|x-3| = 0
That means |x-3| = 0
x-3 = 0
x-3 = -0 <-- -0 doesn't really exist so
x-3 = 0
x = 3 is where we cross 0 and also where we change direction.
We decrease from (-oo,3)
We increase from (3,oo)
