Question 845818: find the remaining trigonometric function of theta if: sin theta =2/3 is in Q1
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find the remaining trigonometric functions of theta if: sin theta =2/3 is in Q1
------
By definition, sin = y/r, so y = 2 and r = 3
Then x = sqrt[3^2-2^2] = sqrt(5)
-----
sin = y/r = 2/3
cos = x/r = sqrt(5)/3
tan = y/x = 2/sqrt(3)
csc = 3/2
sec = 3/sqrt(5)
cot = sqrt(3)/2
