Find the period and phase shift of this equation.
Eq: y=5sin (theta/2 - π/2) -4
Equation for sin function: y=Asin(Bx-C)+D, A=amplitude, Period=2π/B, phase shift=C/B, D=vertical shift
For given sin function:
B=1/2
period=2π/B=2π/(1/2)=4π
phase shift=C/B=π/2/(1/2)=π
