Hi,

sin(x + y) = sin x cosy  +  cos x sin y

sin(x - y) = sin x cosy  -  cos x sin y

 Dividing Numerator and Denominator by cos(x)sin(y)

   Cross Multiplying to solve for tan(x)cot(y)
