Question 832694: cos3 + jsin3 / cos2 +jsin
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(cos3 + jsin3) / (cos2 +jsin)
--------
Multiply numerator and denominator by cos(2)-jsin(2) to get:
--------
= [(cos(3)+jsin(3))(cos(2)-jsin(2)]/[cos^2(2)+sin^2(2)]
--------
= [cos(3)cos(2) + sin(3)sin(2)]/1
--------
= cos(3-2)
--------
= cos(1)
