Question 817538: verify the identity: sin^2x+sin^2xtan^2x=tan^2x
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
verify the identity:
sin^2(x) + sin^2(x)*tan^2(x) = tan^2(x)
--------
sin^2(x)[1+tan^2(x)] = tan^2(x)
--------
sin^2(x)[sec^2(x)] = tan^2(x)
--------
= sin^2(x)/cos^2(x) = tan^2(x)
-------
= tan^2(x) = tan^2(x)
