cos(2x)=cos^2(x)-sin^2(x)
..
cos(x)=(-1/2)
cos^2(x)=1/4
..
sin(x)=√3/2
sin^2(x)=3/4
..
cos(2x)=(1/4)-(12/16)=(4/16)-(12/16)=-8/16=-1/2
...

csc^2x = cot^2x+1
start with right side:
cot^2x+1=cos^2/sin^2x+1
(sin^2(x)+cos^2(x))/sin^2(x)
1/sin^2(x)=csc^2(x)
